Today all of us live in constant fear of this pandemic in our midst. We are often bombarded by news of death , losses , sadness and pain. There is gnawing sense of loneliness and despair. For some they have reached a breaking point, not only individuals but as nations too. Countries are groping in the darkness trying to find a vaccine. To most of us the question that lurks in our mind is – When will this end? Is there an end to this?

At this point in our journey with Covid-19, we know for certain that this virus discriminates no one, they come to us regardless of our status in life. And the millions that had been infected, they did not see it coming..

In the world’s hopelessness , our lives put on hold, we looked back , turned around, searched…and we saw a familiar face. A face that had been always there, waiting for us to meet his gaze. We saw GOD! Yes, with no one to turn too, when all knowledge, intelligence, power, wealth proved futile, our world, the earth that we know seems like it stopped spinning, was in standstill. God is the only one who is ” the same, yesterday, today and forever”. In flick of a finger , we felt the great need for God. For deep in our hearts we know all along that He has the answer to all…

Now people are praying more. Mother Earth was given the respite she needs to breathe again, to recreate herself.

May this gives us the opportunity to find ourselves again , to see the need to be good and do good.

May our faith leads us to truth of our existence in God, and live in gratitude every minute of our lives, a life that was from God.
